Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Lacey, former marketer and editorial stylist, mom, daughter, sister, friend, and wife. But this isn’t really about me. It’s about the moments we show up for, the memories we make, and creating clothing that never asks you to choose between feeling good and being present. I’m a mom of three boys, Carter, Cole, and Colin, and miss Joey (hence the name). Each of them has shaped this brand in their own way. My boys have taught me energy, humor, grit, and how to embrace the messiness of real life. They’ve shown me how to move fast, play hard, and not sweat the small stuff. Joey has taught me softness, confidence, and the power of believing in yourself out loud. Every night when I tuck her in, she says the same words, like a promise to herself and a reminder to me: I am brave. I am strong. I am kind. I am caring. I am resilient. I am funny. I am beautiful. Together, my children have taught me how to live those words, not just say them. They’ve taught me courage on the hard days, resilience when plans change, and joy in the moments that matter most. Joey Beach exists because of them. I believe clothes should never keep you from enjoying life’s moments. What you wear should move with you, support you, and let you stay present, which leads to our brand's mantra - from sunrise to sunset. From everyday chaos to unexpected magic, this brand is about showing up as you are, feeling confident and comfortable, and saying yes to the moment, without having to overthink what you’re wearing.
